How to Connect Your Etsy Shop

Log in to EasyNest
Sign in to your EasyNest account at app.easynest.io. If you don't have an account yet, create one for free — no credit card required.
Go to Settings
Click on your profile avatar in the top right corner and select "Settings" from the menu, or navigate to the Settings page from the sidebar.
Click "Connect Etsy Shop"
In the Shops section, click the "Connect Etsy Shop" button. This will redirect you to Etsy's official authorization page.
Authorize on Etsy
On Etsy's page, review the permissions EasyNest is requesting and click "Grant Access". We request permission to read and write your listings, read your shop data, and read transaction data for analytics. We never request access to your payment information or Etsy password.
Automatic Redirect
After granting access, Etsy will redirect you back to EasyNest. Your shop will appear in the sidebar, and an automatic sync will begin. All your listings — active, draft, and inactive — will be imported with their images, tags, descriptions, and variations.
Wait for Sync to Complete
The initial sync takes 1-3 minutes depending on the number of listings. You can track progress with the progress bar. Once complete, all your listings will be available for editing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What permissions does EasyNest need?
EasyNest requests listings_r (read listings), listings_w (write listings), shops_r (read shop data), and transactions_r (read sales data for analytics). We never access your payment details or Etsy password.
Can I connect multiple Etsy shops?
Yes! Pro and Business plans support multiple shops. Simply repeat the connection process for each shop. All shops appear in the sidebar for easy switching.
How do I disconnect my shop?
Go to Settings > Shops and click the disconnect button next to the shop you want to remove. You can also revoke access from your Etsy account settings under Apps & Permissions.
What if the connection fails?
Make sure you are logged in to the correct Etsy account. Clear your browser cookies and try again. If the issue persists, check that your Etsy shop is in good standing and not suspended.
Do I need to reconnect after changing my Etsy password?
No. EasyNest uses OAuth tokens, not your password. Changing your Etsy password does not affect the connection. However, if you revoke the app from Etsy's settings, you will need to reconnect.
